1. Introduction

NEC Field Calc (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy. The App runs entirely on your device, has no backend server, and does not collect, log, or transmit your data. By using NEC Field Calc, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. We Do Not Collect Information

NEC Field Calc is fully local and has no backend server. We do not collect, record, store, or transmit personal information or usage data.

2.1 Information We Do Not Collect

NEC Field Calc does not collect:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, account credentials)
• Calculation inputs or results (voltage, length, wire size, conduit data, etc.)
• History records saved in the App
• Location data
• Contacts
• Photos, camera, microphone, or health data
• Device analytics or advertising identifiers for tracking
• Any other personal or usage data sent to us

2.2 Data Stored Only on Your Device

Preferences (language, appearance), Pro unlock status, and calculation history are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to any server we operate. We cannot access that data.

3. Internet Connection

NEC Field Calc needs an internet connection only for:

• In-app purchases: Lifetime Pro unlock and restore purchases are handled by Apple’s App Store / StoreKit.

All calculators work offline. Apart from App Store purchase and restore flows, the App does not require network access.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 On-Device Storage

History and settings remain on your device. We operate no user-data server, so your calculation data is never uploaded to us. Uninstalling the App removes local App data according to iOS behavior.

4.2 Security Practices

• Local processing: All calculations run on device
• No analytics SDKs: We do not ship third-party analytics or ads SDKs in the App
• Minimal permissions: The App does not request photo, location, contacts, camera, or microphone access

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Apple Services

NEC Field Calc uses Apple services only for:

• App Store / StoreKit: distributing the App and processing the non-consumable lifetime Pro purchase and restore

Those services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy and terms. We do not receive your full payment card information from Apple.

5.2 No Third-Party Analytics

NEC Field Calc does not use third-party analytics or advertising services. We do not track your usage for marketing profiles.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

Because we do not collect user data, there is nothing for us to share or disclose. Local history and settings stay under your control on the device.

7. Your Choices

• Ownership: Your local history and inputs belong to you
• Access: You can view history inside the App
• Deletion: Clear history in the App or delete the App to remove local App data
• Purchases: Manage or request refunds for App Store purchases through Apple

8. Children’s Privacy

NEC Field Calc is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be reflected by updating this page and/or the App version. Continued use of NEC Field Calc after an update means you accept the revised policy.

For App Store Connect, NEC Field Calc is intended to be declared as Data Not Collected for privacy nutrition labels, consistent with this policy: no account, no analytics SDK, no server-side user database.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved through friendly consultation; if consultation fails, they may be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction.
